Lilipad is a non-profit initiative that aims to set up little libraries in schools located in remote and underprivileged areas.

Lililpad Library in Uganda via Lilipad

Founded in December of 2016, they have already built their first library in Uganda, and are on to their second effort in Morocco, in a small school outside of Casablanca. They hope to share books with the 207 children going to school there at the École Lakhdara, providing text books, backpacks, and classroom renovations. And they need your help: you can donate books or contribute to their crowdfunding campaign on GoFundMe.

Grover supported Lilipad’s most recent fundraising event, the Lilipad Charity Summer Fest, last weekend here in Berlin at Kulturlabor Trial & Error. They had drinks, books and clothing for sale, delicious vegetarian and vegan food, Moroccan traditional crafts, and of course: music!

Grover provided two Pioneer CDJs and a mixer to keep the evening grooving. Lilipad raised over 1,000€ at the event!

Books are some of the first and most impactful technologies most of us have access to, and we are so proud to support Lilipad in their efforts to provide access to books for children all over the world!
